Science ECT - High-Achieving School in Oxford
Are you an enthusiastic and motivated Science ECT looking to begin your career in a school with strong academic traditions? We are seeking a dedicated Science Teacher to join a high-achieving secondary school in Oxford, starting in January 2026. This is a full-time, permanent post suitable for both ECTs and experienced practitioners.

About the Role
As a Science ECT, duties will include:
• Teaching Science across KS3 and KS4
• Delivering engaging, practical and theory-based lessons
• Assessing student progress and supporting exam preparation
• Contributing to curriculum planning and departmental initiatives
• Participating in STEM clubs, competitions, or trips
• Engaging fully with the school’s ECT development programme
Experience and Qualifications
• Degree in a Science discipline
• PGCE with QTS
• Science Teacher (ECTs encouraged)

Paid to scale – MPS/UPS
