The interim Company Secretary will be responsible for…
- Ensuring systems are in place to ensure Trust Board compliance with all regulatory standards and legislation in its capacity and will work closely with the Chairman and the Chief Executive in managing the interface between the Board of Directors and the Council of Governors and the wider Membership. The Secretary will be the principal point of contact between the organisation and NHS England on Membership and associated governance arrangements.
- The Secretary, with the Deputy Director of Corporate Services, establish and maintain procedures for the sound governance of the Trust and will advise the Board of Directors and the Council of Governors on developments in governance issues and act as Secretary to these bodies and relevant Board of Directors' and Council of Governors sub-committees.
What we look for
- Able to start as soon as possible.
- Experience of working as a Company Secretary (or equivalent role), or in a senior governance role
- Experience of working in an organisation under public and political scrutiny
What we offer
- Daily rate: £200 - £235.74 a day via an umbrella company.
- Hybrid.
- 5 days per week, 37.5 hours (ideally 2 days on site).
