Starting Salary: £12.71 per hour (£25,114.96 p/a) — rising to £13.65 per hour (£26,972.40 p/a) after 12 months (Note: Salary currently under negotiation!)
We are looking for a Youth/ Young People Escort Custody Officer to join our team at the Hucknall Vehicle Base (PECS) .
In this vital role, you’ll provide a culture of care, safety, and support for children and young people with complex needs while they are in custody or transit. We don’t expect you to know the technicalities on day one—we teach you that. We just need your empathy, patience, and resilience.
The Package & Benefits: - Youth/ Young People Escort Custody Officer -Hucknall , Nottinghamshire
- Salary: rising to £13.65 per hour (£26,972.40 p/a) after 12 months (Note: Salary currently under negotiation!)
- Hours: Permanent, 38 hours per week (regular overtime available).

What You Need: - Youth/ Young People Escort Custody Officer -Hucknall , Nottinghamshire
- Experience working in care or directly with children/young people.
- A full UK Driving Licence.
- A basic level of physical fitness.
- High integrity (roles are subject to Enhanced MoJ Level 2 vetting).

- Start Date: 29/06/2026 (Requires 100% attendance for a paid 5-week intensive training course finishing 31/07/2026—no holidays can be granted during this time).
