Your responsibilities will include:
- Providing 1:1 and small group support to pupils.
- Assisting teachers with lesson delivery and classroom activities.
- Supporting pupils with SEND, including Autism (ASC), ADHD, SEMH, and communication needs.
- Encouraging positive behaviour, confidence, and independence.
- Creating a safe, engaging, and inclusive learning environment.
- Working collaboratively with teachers and school staff to support pupil progress.
We are looking for candidates who:
- Have at least 6 months' experience working with children or young people in a school, childcare, or support setting.
- Have experience as a Teaching Assistant, Learning Support Assistant, SEN Teaching Assistant, Youth Worker, Mental Health Support Worker, or in a similar role.
- Are passionate about education and supporting children's development.
- Have excellent communication and teamwork skills.
- Hold an Enhanced DBS on the Update Service or are willing to apply for one.
