Creative Artworker Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Creative Artworker to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Understand and apply style rules and standards for a variety of clients;
- Work closely with the Accounts team to develop creative solutions for their clients;
- Create mock-ups, visuals and retouch assets;
- A self-starter who can take ownership of file archiving, backup and asset management;
- Artworking across both print and digital mediums;
- Collaborating with the design team and be confident in presenting ideas;
- Developing brochures, simple digital layouts, PowerPoint artwork;
- Great organisational skills;
- Drive creative excellence individually and as part of a team on behalf of the clients;
- Ensuring that work is produced to a very high standard;
- Any other duties as reasonably requested;
- Maintain a high visual standard; match, set and assist others in maintaining this standard;
- Propose new ideas and innovations within print and packaging design, working alongside the 2D creative team;
- Working with big brands and clients on some very exciting and new projects;
- Peer review others work.
Requirements:
- Experience in a similar role within an agency, in-house, freelance, work experience or internships;
- Brand focused with the best and most effective creative solution for the client top of the agenda;
- Skills in retouching, colour correction and masking;
- Methodical approach to managing artwork files and assets;
- Quality assurance for print and digital outputs;
- Ability and willingness to collaborate;
- Traditional typography and layout knowledge;
- Digital banner campaign experience;
- Excellent working knowledge of artwork, repro and print processes;
- A minimum of 2 years experience in a similar creative field;
- Efficiency in a fast-paced environment;
- Thorough and meticulous approach to detail in all active work;
- Excellent knowledge of Adobe CC including Photoshop, Illustrator, & InDesign;
- Proactive with a positive, can-do mindset;
- Experience in a similar role, ideally in the entertainment industry.
