CAD Draughtsperson Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a CAD Draughtsperson to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Provide customer support when needed;
- Ability to convert between 2D and 3D easily and extrapolate drawings from 3D modelling;
- Undertake design and analysis of designs as required;
- Knowledge of light and heavy structural design would be advantageous;
- Progress drawing projects, including design/modification sign-off as required;
- Using 2D and 3D software such as Tekla and Advance Steel.
Requirements:
- HND or higher in Engineering – Mechanical, Civil or Structural would be advantageous;
- 5 GCSE’s or equivalent, including A*-C: Maths, English and Science;
- Microsoft Office software;
- Use Tekla and Advance Steel as required;
- HNC / HND;
- Microsoft Office Excel;
- Solidworks: CAD.
