Responsibilities:
- Dilapidations;
- Dealing with claims and negotiations and also providing advice in connection with planning applications;
- Due diligence acquisition surveys;
- Offer project management services;
- Prepare building regulation notes;
- Dilapidation Inspections;
- Deliver the principles of quality and health & safety;
- Ensure buildings conform to the latest building regulations and technical standards;
- Provide advice on the design, construction, maintenance, repair and refurbishment of all types of residential and commercial property;
- Supervision of building work on site;
- Offer project management advice;
- Party Wall etc Act 1996;
- Planning applications;
- Be prepared to travel occasionally nationwide for further out projects;
- Preparation of Feasibility studies including drawings and budget costs.
Requirements:
- MRICS qualified;
- Previous contract administration and project management experience;
- Can demonstrate high-quality technical delivery experience;
- Ensure buildings conform to the latest building regulations and technical standards;
- Deliver the principles of quality and health & safety;
- Prepare building regulation notes;
- Dilapidation Inspections;
- Due Diligence Acquisition Surveys;
- 3+ years surveying experience – postgraduate – in a Chartered Building Surveyor role;
- Experience in a similar private practice role;
- Planning applications;
- Fantastic verbal and written skills;
- Delivering Project Management services;
- Building Surveys – Condition; Defect reports and Pre-acquisition;
- Postgraduate surveying experience of at least 3+ years.
