Our company is looking for a Content Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Empower & lead a team of Digital Merchandisers, Copywriters and SEO Specialists;
  • Content Marketing & PR: increase SEO positions & brand visibility;
  • Project coordination between all marketing teams;
  • Identify opportunities to repurpose content for various stages of the customer lifecycle;
  • Identify opportunities for innovation in the content, delivery and choice of channel;
  • Make sure all written content is produced to the highest quality;
  • Produce weekly reports on engagement metrics;
  • Editorial governance of brand voice, style and tone;
  • Matrix management of a network of content producers and subject matter experts across a range of organisational teams, specialisms and functions;
  • Oversight of user journeys across a range of content platforms;
  • Lead on content for all internal communications including leading the editorial content for the quarterly magazine;
  • Design and ownership of performance metrics across channels and a range of strategic objectives;
  • Project manage the delivery of a busy and complex content roadmap;
  • Ensure all content is SEO optimised for discovery & carry out regular keyword analysis to inform ongoing strategy;
  • Have ownership of the content strategy working closely with their digital agency.

Requirements:

  • Be passionate about building a data-driven communication strategy;
  • Minimum of 2 years+ of solid copywriting experience within financial services, ideally in the derivatives and cash equities sector;
  • Educated to degree level or professional qualification in communications/marketing/PR or at least 6 years-experience in content writing;
  • Experience of uploading to and formatting web pages and blogs using one or more current content management systems (CMS);
  • Linking content strategy with organisational strategy and demonstrating the contribution of content towards specific strategic objectives;
  • Photoshop and image editing software;
  • Deep knowledge of sport, lifestyle trends and what content appeals to a diversified range of audience;
  • Leadership of creative processes with a range of clients and/or stakeholders;
  • Development of – and measurement against – meaningful performance metrics for content;
  • English, Native or bilingual proficiency;
  • Coaching and training content producers from a range of disciplines and professional backgrounds;
  • Proven ability to select the right format, right channel and right time for effective content design and delivery;
  • Design and delivery of effective multi-channel content strategies;
  • Project Management, in a matrix or cross functional environment;
  • Problem solving skills with ability to adapt in an ever changing environment.
