Front End UI Developer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Front End UI Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Writes unit tests;
- Contributes to daily stand ups, sprint planning, sprint demos and sprint retrospectives;
- Writes and verifies code which adheres to the acceptance criteria;
- Works with Operations to manage a continuous integration pipeline to deliver and implement new apps/code and updates to the Digital platform;
- Translates user stories and backlog items into engineering design and logical units of work (tasks);
- Estimates size of user stories and backlog items;
- Evaluates technical feasibility.
Requirements:
- Excellent knowledge of HTML and CSS Frameworks (Bootstrap or similar) and JavaScript Frameworks (e.g. ReactJS or Angular);
- Highly proficient in verbal and written English;
- Good knowledge of Back End Development utilising the following; AEM (Java, Sling), RESTFul API’s, JSON;
- Effectively communicate technical subjects to team members;
- Proficient in Source Code Management tools for example (Azure Repos, GitHub, Bitbucket etc.);
- Proficient in UI Functional Development utilising the following; JavaScript, Building customised components in AEM or similar CMS;
- Minimum 3 years working as a web developer and competent in the use of web development architectures and tools;
- Knowledge of Continuous integration/deployment;
- Good knowledge Front End Development utilising the following; HTML, CSS, CSS Responsive frameworks (Bootstrap, Semantic UI etc).
