Our company is looking for a ICT Technician to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Create and maintain a purposeful, orderly and productive working environment;
  • Provide support and guidance to staff and students on the use of the school’s ICT systems;
  • Installation of software and hardware;
  • Troubleshoot software and hardware;
  • To support teaching and learning in the general running of the ICT rooms to ensure lessons are efficiently serviced;
  • To undertake the necessary training associated with the post;
  • To contribute to provide of physical security measures to protect against loss of equipment;
  • To train other staff;
  • Assist with support of the Company’s PMS, EPOS, S&C, MC, HR, and Payroll systems;
  • You shall assist with installation and configuration of hardware and software including new releases, carry out testing and train staff and students;
  • To ensure that at all times ICT facilities are fully functional and secure;
  • You shall assist administrative staff with hardware and software operations as required by Your line manager;
  • To provide support for the development of the multi academy website’s/VLE through the Strategic ICT Operations Manager;
  • Maintain and support the backup system and disaster recovery activities;
  • Maintenance of Health and Safety issues related to the use of ICT.

Requirements:

  • Good Written and communication skills Good inter-personal skills;
  • It related degree or other qualification;
  • Windows Server 2008+
  • Customer Service;
  • Microsoft Office 365;
  • Proven experience;
  • Knowledge of LAN/WAN, DHCP, TCP/IP, IIS, Cisco switches, VOIP;
  • The ability to work to deadlines. Keep accurate and detailed records and data;
  • Full UK driving license;
  • Active Directory;
  • Group Policy;
  • Minimum 2 years experience in a similar position.
