Our company is looking for a Senior Web Developer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- working with the wider business to draw out opportunities and generate new ideas;
- supporting and mentoring junior team members;
- design and development of new technical solutions for enterprise-level projects;
- developing, maintaining and supporting our existing SaaS applications;
- Collaboration across our London, Seattle & Hong Kong teams and client bases;
- Leading development of full web projects;
- Working directly with our clients to solve key business challenges through developing innovative technical solutions;
- Ensuring applications are coded securely, documented, tested and deployed in line with best practice;
- Delivering feature upgrades and products that maximise site engagement and conversions;
- Managing a team of on-shore and near-shore developers to deliver technical solutions for our clients;
- Potential for back-end work too, whether that’s with Node or other modern technologies or platforms;
- Working closely with our designers to build elegant, technical solutions across e-commerce, app, business tools and many more;
- Identifying how clients can make best use of new technologies and techniques;
- Supporting an infrastructure and development environment;
- Advising our clients on high-level solution design and digital architecture to enable new channels, touchpoints & experiences.
Requirements:
- IoT experience;
- Cloud services – Google, AWS, Azure;
- analytical mind who can bring clarity to difficult situations;
- GIS technologies (Geoserver, PostGIS, Openlayers, ESRI);
- advanced experience with T-SQL / SQL Server;
- able to work under pressure and to tight deadlines;
- flexible and able to adapt to new languages and technologies;
- proven professional experience with ASP.NET / C#;
- communicating and liaising effectively with colleagues;
- experience with some of the following – IIS, VB.NET, PostgreSQL, REST APIs;
- C#, MVC, ASP.NET, Web Forms;
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery;
- XML / JSON Knowledge;
- SQL Server Databases;
- 5 or more years of experience as a web developer.
