Design and implement computer and information networks, such as local area networks (LAN), wide area networks (WAN), intranets, extranets, and other data communications networks. Perform network modeling, analysis, and planning. May also design network and computer security measures. May research and recommend network and data communications hardware and software.

Our company is looking for a Solution Architect to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Gather requirements and specifications from stakeholders to gain a complete sense of expectations and limitations;
  • Engaging with senior technical stakeholders and representing Quantexa as the technical authority within client organisations;
  • Ability to simply and clearly communicate technical design in conversation, documentation and presentations;
  • Build deep relationships with senior technical individuals within Atom and partners;
  • Mentoring project team members in technical, data and delivery skills;
  • Accurately reporting the project status at weekly management meetings;
  • Prepare and conduct discovery workshops, discussions, and value-based use case demonstrations along with sales team;
  • Work and collaborate across multiple sprint teams;
  • Working to feed requirements for product enhancements into the R&D team;
  • Producing solution and infrastructure design and environment sizing for Quantexa’s platform and surrounding technologies;
  • Build and maintain system and application architecture, standards and best practices documentation;
  • Perform architecture reviews and develop joint solutions with partners;
  • Listens to and evaluates customer needs to determine, provide, and identify high quality solutions that align with customer expectations;
  • Support pre-sales activities (e.g. providing input on RFP responses);
  • Participate as a trusted technical expert in pre-sales and implementation of the Sugar solution.

Requirements:

  • Excellent understanding of application development methodologies and infrastructure and network architecture;
  • Exceptional interpersonal skills, including teamwork, facilitation and negotiation;
  • API management technologies;
  • A solid understanding of relevant technology trends;
  • Application performance tuning;
  • Experience in Web applications and excellent knowledge of at least one of the dynamic languages and familiar with others (PHP, Python, Ruby, Perl);
  • Team player with the ability to work in virtual and remote teams;
  • Experience estimating work effort;
  • Strong understanding o;
  • Well versed in current industry best practices regarding solution delivery disciplines;
  • Ability to create clear and effective reports suitable for customer acceptance;
  • Results oriented with a commitment to quality of product and service;
  • Providing solutions architecture service to support the IS2003Contract Exit – decommissioning of 30 services under ICE;
  • Understanding of distributed computing design principles, execution patterns and performance optimisation techniques;
  • Prior hands-on web software development experience.
