An exciting opportunity just came up to work for a Fortune Global 500 Business. They are on the search for a highly skilled Senior Internal Auditor to join their growing Global Audit Team. This role is a Hybrid-Role based in Paris or Reims .

Responsibilities of a Senior Internal Auditor:

Actively participate in operational audit tasks, encompassing the planning, execution of fieldwork, definition of audit objectives, and reporting of findings following established protocols.
Evaluate internal control systems, risks, and business processes.
Assess the effectiveness of internal controls within the European entities.
Generate audit reports and documentation in English.
Ensure timely completion of audit projects meeting specified quality standards.
Contribute to the preparation of reports and presentations, communicating review outcomes to management, and suggesting process improvements.
Support activities and processes related to Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOx) requirements.
Adhere to departmental and professional standards, ensuring overall quality and consistency in audit work.

Essential skills:

Between 5 - 9 years’ experience in internal audit roles within an industrial company or an external audit firm
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Solid experience auditing SMEs
Preferably another European language
Knowledge of major ERP systems such as SAP, AS400, Oracle.
Strong data analytical experience
Preferably Bachelors or Masters Degree (or equivalent).
Willingness and ability to travel across Europe (max 30%)
