We’re hiring our first Sales Account Executive (AE) in the UK – a pivotal new role as we expand our presence and build direct, local relationships. You’ll play a key part in driving growth and customer value while contributing to the wider energy transition.

This is more than just a sales role: it’s a chance to shape how Volue engages with the UK market, working with purpose, autonomy, and an experienced international team passionate about solving meaningful challenges.

What You’ll Do

As a Sales Account Executive, you will own the full sales cycle – from identifying opportunities to closing deals – while building strong, long-term customer partnerships. Your work will directly support utilities, grid operators, and energy traders in navigating complexity and maximising value.

Your responsibilities will include:

Building and executing strategic account plans for key prospects and customers.
Developing strong, trust-based relationships with stakeholders across all levels.
Leading the full sales process: identifying leads, qualifying opportunities, delivering compelling demos, negotiating terms, and closing.
Collaborating with Sales Development Reps, Solution Consultants, Sales Engineers, and Delivery teams to present tailored solutions.
Winning new logos and expanding Volue’s footprint in the UK market.
Managing your pipeline effectively and maintaining up-to-date CRM records.
Championing customer needs internally to ensure successful onboarding and long-term satisfaction.

What You Bring

We’re looking for a results-driven professional who understands the energy landscape and thrives in a fast-moving environment. You combine strategic thinking with a hands-on, entrepreneurial approach.

You’ll need:

A degree in business, economics, engineering, or a related field.
Minimum 3 years’ experience in the energy or power grid sector.
Proven success in software/SaaS sales, ideally within B2B or enterprise environments.
Deep understanding of the UK energy market – its players, challenges, and trends.
Experience selling complex, consultative solutions to technical and business stakeholders.
A consistent track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Strong CRM discipline and transparency in sales reporting.
Excellent communication skills in English (native or fluent); international experience is a plus.
