Are you looking for a Monday to Friday office based opportunity?
Your role would be to provide expert information and advice on aspects of procurement processes within the company. This extends to all other purchasing that is required including uniforms and PPE for employees and new starters through to stationary, promotional merchandise and facilitating waste management.
Responsibilities of the Procurement Cooridinator:
Maintaining and updating supplier information such as delivery time, cost, product rate etc.
Manage stock levels, liaising with the different departments to ensure adequate stock is available for current and forth coming projects.
Experience of purchasing procedures and systems in procurement, buyer role
Proven experience, preferably in the engineering sector, in coordinating and organising procurement activities, including managing contracts and liaising with suppliers including knowledge and experience in the purchasing of PPE gear and uniforms.
