Level 3 Inclusion Teaching Assistant – Fishguard

Location: Fishguard
Weekly PAYE - £85.50 - £90 p/d
Term time only

TeacherActive is currently recruiting Level 3 Inclusion Teaching Assistants to work in secondary schools across Fishguard. This is a fantastic opportunity for caring, resilient, and adaptable education professionals looking to make a genuine difference within an inclusive school environment.

The Role

• Provide targeted one-to-one and small-group support for pupils
• Support learners with Additional Learning Needs (ALN) across the curriculum
• Work alongside teachers to adapt learning and encourage pupil engagement
• Support pupils' emotional wellbeing, confidence, and independence
• Assist with interventions and personalised learning activities
• Promote positive behaviour and help pupils overcome barriers to learning
• Work closely with teaching staff and the wider inclusion/ALN team
• Build positive and trusting relationships with pupils

Requirements

✅ Level 3 qualification in Supporting Teaching and Learning, Education, or a relevant subject
✅ Previous experience supporting children or young people in an educational setting
✅ Experience working with pupils with ALN is highly desirable
✅ Strong understanding of inclusive education and individualised support
✅ Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
✅ Patient, resilient, and proactive approach
✅ Enhanced DBS on the Update Service (or willingness to obtain one)
