About the role
Connex Education are working with a large mainstream primary school and nursery provision in the Stockton-On-Tees area who are seeking Teaching Assistants to work full time. We are looking for 2 Teaching Assistants specifically for EYFS and Year 1. The role is for general TA support within nursery and Y1 but you must also be happy providing some 1:1 support and small group sessions where required.

Assignment Details
This Teaching Assistant position is full time working Monday – Friday. You must be able to commit to 8:30-3:30 daily. Experience working in a school or nursery is required for this position- you are also invitied to apply if you have recently completed a TA qualification and gained experience through a placement or a volunteer assignment. The role is required ASAP through to the end of the academic year.

Person Specification
- Teaching Assistant Qualification or Equivalent Degree/ Experience
- Have experience of supporting pupils in a primary or nursery environment
- Be confident working with small groups
- Good Knowledge of Additional Needs and knowledge of either EYFS/KS1/KS2 Curriculum
- Have a current DBS on the update service or willing to apply for a new one with Connex
