Salary: £26,806 - £27,032 (pro-rata for part-time and sessional)
Hours: 36 per week, 40 weeks sessional

Drummond Community High School is a fully comprehensive, non-denominational secondary school based in Edinburgh city centre. We have a growing school roll that we expect to rise next session. Our pathways of support are designed to ensure that every young person develops their academic potential, talents, interests and abilities and we offer a wide range of opportunities across the curriculum from S1 to S6 to prepare learners for their future positive destination. The senior leadership team comprises of the Head Teacher, three Depute Head Teachers, a Business Manager, a Senior Development Officer.

We are looking for a motivated and enthusiastic clerical assistant to join our Office Administration team , 36 hours per week primarily working on attendance on a daily basis.

This post is regulated work with children and/or protected adults under the Protection of Vulnerable Groups (Scotland) Act 2007. The preferred candidate will be required to join the PVG Scheme or undergo a PVG Scheme update check. Where an individual has spent a continuous period of 3 months or more out with the UK in the last 5 years, an Overseas Criminal Record Check will be required. You will be required to provide this check. An unconditional offer of employment and commencement in the post will be subject to the outcome of both these pre-employment checks being deemed satisfactory.

Our salary range typically reflects the initial starting salary and annually increases until it reaches the top of the range.
