The Opportunity
The Board believes the next stage of value creation will come from building a digitally-led international product business, increasing direct customer relationships, expanding online sales channels, and accelerating growth in both consumer and small business markets.
This role is focused primarily on commercial growth, digital channel development, customer acquisition and strategic execution rather than scientific or technical leadership.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the transformation of Hydrosense from a predominantly distributor-led business to a digitally-led international product company.
• Accelerate growth through Amazon, online marketplaces and the Hydrosense webstore.
• Increase the proportion of revenue generated through owned digital channels and direct customer relationships.
• Build and optimise digital customer acquisition across SEO, PPC, content marketing, email marketing and marketplace advertising.
• Expand HydroHawk into a leading international testing brand serving both consumers and small businesses.
• Identify and launch complementary products that leverage existing customer channels and fulfilment infrastructure.
• Develop scalable systems, processes and teams capable of supporting substantial growth.
• Maintain and strengthen relationships with distributors and value-added resellers who provide genuine market access, technical support or customer value.
• Work closely with the Board and shareholders to deliver long-term growth in revenue, profitability and enterprise value.

• Growing revenue through Amazon, ecommerce, digital marketplaces or direct-to-customer channels.
• Building and scaling online sales operations.
• Selling products to both consumers and small businesses (SMEs).
• Developing customer acquisition strategies and improving conversion rates.
• Managing international growth and multi-channel sales operations.
• Building brands and creating repeat-purchase customer bases.
• Managing P&L responsibility within a growth business environment.
Desirable Experience
• Experience transitioning customers from traditional reseller channels to direct purchasing models.
• Experience managing distributor and partner networks.
• Experience launching new products internationally.
• Experience in testing products, environmental products, healthcare products, industrial products, trade products or specialist consumables.
Industry Background
Experience in life sciences, diagnostics or environmental testing would be advantageous but is not essential.
