An experienced Bakery Chef is needed on a luxury Cruise Ship. An important position onboard that has the following responsibilities: Preparing all breads, rolls, cakes and cookies for all locations, menus and buffet areas; Scheduling, planning, assigning and direct work within the bakery; Understanding, instructing and guiding crew in the production of dough, mixes, batters, breads, rolls, croissants, Danish pastries and muffins; Leading a designated culinary team toward completion of daily work; Overseeing allergy and dietary training of bakery staff; Providing leadership to all direct reports; Other duties required by the role; Requirements: Certified Master Baker or equivalent degree in culinary arts; Excellent technical and functional understanding of the ship-based food and beverage operations; Proven track record of delivering a high-quality product; Minimum of 6 years’ experience in the bakery field working within a local/wholesale bakery, large hotel/resort and/or ship operation.; If you have the experience and are interested in taking your career to the next level in a high-end company, then apply today.
