Marketing & Business Development Manager

My client is seeking an experienced Marketing & Business Development Manager to lead the BD and client development agenda for its internationally recognised Aerospace practice. With a global team of specialists spanning multiple jurisdictions, the group is consistently recognised as a leader in the sector, advising many of the most prominent organisations across the aviation and aerospace market.
This role will see you partnering closely with senior stakeholders across the business to shape and execute the sector's international growth strategy, driving profile-raising initiatives, client development programmes, strategic campaigns and high-value business opportunities.
As Business Development Manager, you'll have the opportunity to:
- Lead the development and delivery of the Aerospace group's global marketing and business development strategy.
- Work directly with senior partners and sector leaders to identify growth opportunities, strengthen client relationships and support revenue generation.
- Drive international campaigns, thought leadership initiatives, events and profile-raising activity across multiple jurisdictions.
- Lead complex pitches, proposals and panel appointments, ensuring compelling and commercially focused submissions.
- Utilise market intelligence, CRM data and emerging AI technologies to support client targeting, planning and reporting.
- Line manage and mentor a Business Development Executive while contributing to the wider development of the BD function.
What's needed:
- Experienced BD & Marketing professionals with experience gained within legal or wider Professional Services
- Proven experience working with senior stakeholders
- Ability to implement and drive compelling BD and Marketing strategies
- Ability to work on own initiative, show innovation and develop projects with an international perspective.
- Proactive individual with excellent organisation/project management skills.
