Finance Analyst

This represents an outstanding opportunity for a newly or recently qualified accountant looking to make their first move from practice into industry. The role would be particularly well suited to candidates from an audit, corporate finance, transaction services, financial modelling, deals advisory or wider business advisory background who are keen to apply their technical skills within a commercial environment.

Working closely with senior leadership, the successful candidate will gain exposure to strategic decision-making, business performance analysis, investment appraisal and financial planning activities. The Role

The successful candidate will support a wide range of financial, analytical and strategic activities across the business.

Key responsibilities will include:

• Financial analysis and reporting to support business performance and strategic decision-making
• Building and maintaining financial models to assess business opportunities, projects and investments
• Supporting budgeting, forecasting and long-term planning processes
• Providing insight and challenge to key stakeholders across the organisation
• Assisting with business cases, investment appraisals and commercial evaluations
• Analysing trends, risks and opportunities to support senior management decision-making
• Supporting corporate projects, acquisitions and strategic initiatives where applicable
• Preparing presentations and analysis for senior leadership and key stakeholders
• Identifying opportunities to improve reporting, processes and controls
• Working closely with finance and operational teams to enhance business performance

About You

We are keen to hear from ambitious and analytically minded finance professionals who are looking to build a long-term career within a commercial environment.

You will ideally possess:

• A professional accounting qualification (CA, ACCA or equivalent), either recently qualified or nearing qualification
• Experience gained within Audit, Corporate Finance, Transaction Services, Financial Modelling, Deals Advisory or a related professional services environment
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent Excel and financial modelling capabilities
• A commercial mindset with the ability to interpret and communicate financial information effectively
• Strong stakeholder management and communication skills
• A proactive approach and willingness to take ownership of projects
• Ambition to develop and progress within a growing organisation
