Daily Housekeeper/Light Cook req for informal family living in South Kensington, Central London
£45,000–£55,000 per annum, depending on experience
Schedule: 5 days on / 3 days off rota. 9am - 5pm

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Daily Housekeeper / Light Cook to join a warm, informal and friendly professional family at their private residence in South Kensington.
The household comprises a couple and their two-year-old daughter, with a full-time nanny already employed. The successful candidate will join an established household team and work alongside another experienced housekeeper on a 5 days on / 3 days off rota, ensuring excellent continuity and standards throughout the home.
This is a hands-on housekeeping position suited to someone who is proactive, hardworking, reliable and exceptionally detail-oriented. The successful candidate will take full responsibility for the day-to-day housekeeping, laundry and ironing, whilst also preparing fresh, light and healthy family meals.
The Household
• Professional couple with a young child
• Full-time nanny already in situ
• Two cats
• Private townhouse residence in South Kensington
• Four/five-storey property with no lift
Please note: Candidates must be comfortable working across a multi-storey townhouse with no lift and be physically able to manage the demands of the role.
Key Responsibilities
• Maintaining the residence to an exceptionally high standard
• Daily cleaning, tidying, organisation and presentation of the home
• Managing all household laundry and ironing
• Careful handling of fine clothing, fabrics and household items
• Wardrobe care and organisation
• Managing household supplies and stock levels
• Preparing fresh, healthy
Although required to cover some weekends this Housekeeper/Cook will always have a 3 day break at the end of a 5 day working stint.
