Our company is looking for a Head of People to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Build a strong relationship with our Talent Team to ensure we are attracting the best talent in the market and are seen as a leader in our field;
  • Strategic Growth – working with the MD and leadership team to ensure all our people related activity is setting us up for continued future success;
  • Supporting the growth of your team offering coaching to junior team members whilst maintaining a high performing People team;
  • Promoting a high performance culture and ensuring talent is identified and developed to contribute to our competitive edge;
  • Help us to build defined development plans for each team so we can support progression throughout the business;
  • Partnering with resource from our CoE’s to help design and shape solutions in line with our business strategy;
  • Performance Management – we know our people are our biggest asset so we want to make sure they’re reaching their full potential;
  • Anticipate employee relations issues before they arise and provide proactive and effective advice and support to all employees and line managers;
  • Embed yourself with our business units and work closely with our L&D team to ensure our people are supported and deliver their best work;
  • Learning and Development – supporting the management team with developing their teams in all areas, including training delivery and 121 coaching;
  • Shaping and implementing a people strategy that aligns to the needs of the function as well as Virgin Media;
  • Identifying and designing strategic workforce planning solutions to enable us to resource and mange headcount effectively;
  • Work with our in-house counsel team and be our go-to for all things people and policy related across the business ensuring we are one step ahead;

  • Drive the use of people centric data and identify areas for development.

  • Dedicated to providing a strong customer service;
  • Creating and maintaining training manuals and induction process;
  • Responsible for streamlining onboarding process;
  • Role modelling– As a senior member expected to demonstrate and lead on the values, initiatives and culture of the organisation;
  • Organisational skills– personal efficiency, time management skills and the ability to prioritise competing demands are key;
  • Trust– You will become a trusted confidante on talent issues, unafraid of giving your opinions and expertise.
