Our company is looking for a Head of Product to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Implement Agile working practises and culture of innovation;
  • Oversee the digital vision and strategy developed by Product Owners and provide recommendations on roadmaps;
  • Redefine the digital proposition, managing teams, key internal and external stakeholders and ensure targets are met;
  • Taking full ownership of the product roadmap required to achieve that vision, putting in place the plans and key milestones along the way;
  • Together with the CEO and CTO, defining the strategic vision for the Glisser platform and the company as a whole;
  • New product development, delivered from market research;
  • Guide the full product team to ensure they are developing individual ranges, and are accurate of market needs at the time;
  • Understand Parkopedia’s B2B and B2C user needs;
  • Own the product vision and translate this into an agile roadmap;
  • Product development – this is a greenfield project; loads of potential;
  • Become a valued part of the executive management team, helping to define the company strategy and shape the culture;
  • Creating and maintaining prioritised roadmaps for all product groups (via the Product Managers);
  • Set and monitor OKRs, own the budget and track other KPIs to help inform Product Strategy, producing reports to the Board every half-term;
  • Work with our CTO to ensure that our software development process and tooling allows our product and teams to grow and scale effectively;
  • Managing relationships with external vendors and contractors.

Requirements:

  • 10+ years of experience in technology product management roles, including 5+ years in a leadership role required;
  • A love of music will definitely help;
  • Native mobile app experience would be advantageous;
  • Strong consumer focused product experience, ideally at a high-growth startup;
  • Proven experience leading production change projects e.g. automation to facilitate business;
  • Strong understanding of the UK drinks market, with knowledge of the common pitfalls associated with significant global spirits;
  • Strong level of numeracy, and a track record of full P&L and cash flow accountability for a significant business;
  • You are strong a communicator, can see where communication gaps exists and you can fix them;

  • You have an understanding of scrum framework and agile methodologies;
  • Experience working on iOS app’s (gaming industry would be desirable) which are paid subscription based or in-app purchases;
