Our company is looking for a Electronics Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • PCB layout advice and review;
  • Undertake Business roles as delegated through the engineering hierarchy;
  • Undertake appraisals of engineers as delegated by the Head of engineering through the engineering hierarchy;
  • Deliver complete production packs (BoMs, build instructions, production test solutions);
  • Investigate electronics and system issues as reported by other areas of the business, customers, resellers etc.;
  • Strive to contribute to all the Company’s technical areas;
  • Identify issues, record on feature/issue tracking software and propose fixes;
  • To liaise with the Operations Team to assist in the transfer to manufacture;
  • Perform all PCB layout design activities including library creation, schematic entry, component placement and routing;
  • High frequency and optoelectronic design;
  • Design, develop and modify existing products;
  • PCB and Electronic Design & testing;
  • The PCB and Electronic design aspects of the companies environmental products;
  • Design, development and building test jigs to assist production and QA;
  • PCB assembly and hand soldering of surface mount components.

Requirements:

  • Analogue design;
  • Full UK driving licence and own transport;
  • Signal conditioning and protection;
  • OrCAD;
  • Electronics Engineering experience 3+ years;
  • High frequency and optoelectronic design;
  • Experience with microprocessors;
  • Micro-controllers;
  • VHDL or CPLD;
  • Proven experience of designing and delivering a product through a complete lifecycle;
  • Experience design coding in Verilog and VHDL;
  • PCB layout and design;
  • Schematic capture/PCB layout;
  • Proven experience in PCB design;
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electronic Engineering.
