Responsibilities:

  • Involved in all phases of the product lifecycle from concept, design, development through-life support;
  • Solve complex technical issues, working with all aspects of the engineering department to develop the best products;
  • Adhere to the company’s quality standards at all times, ensuring that the necessary documentation is produced;
  • Carry out detailed failure analysis, supporting the quality team to highlight design improvements;
  • Redesign existing products in order to improve quality and reliability based on production and customer feedback;
  • Work closely with the test and production teams to ensure that all product are suitable for mass production;
  • Taking responsibility of product development from concept to mass production;
  • Analogue Circuit Design;
  • Production of electronics manufacturing documentation;
  • Digital Circuit Design;
  • Schematic Capture and PCB layout;
  • Component specification and evaluation;
  • Resolving technical issues in Production and updating documentation appropriately;
  • Work closely with the Project Management team throughout project lifecycle;
  • Design for EMC and EMC test liaison.

Requirements:

  • Experience with power electronics;
  • A Degree in Electronic Engineering (or related subject);
  • PCB Design;
  • 3/5 years’ industry experience;
  • Understanding of ISO frameworks;
  • Firmware development;
  • General Production Magnetic Design Skills;
  • Degree in electronics (or related subject);
  • Candidates must be eligible to work on military products under the relevant jurisdiction license;
  • Modelling Knowledge;
  • Clear and Concise Communicator of Technical Information;
  • Electronics design from concept to manufacture;
  • At Least 2 years’ industry experience;
  • Good 3D visualizer;
  • It’s likely that you will be degree educated, either in the field of electronics or physics.
