Our company is looking for a Fire Alarm Engineer / Security Engineer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Providing certification for installed and serviced systems to comply with relevant British standards;
  • Identifying potential opportunities where customers could benefit from using additional services;
  • Managing own diary to ensure allocated work is completed on time;
  • Installing, servicing and commissioning small to medium sized fire and intruder alarms, CCTV and access control systems;
  • Responding to out of hours calls whilst covering on call duty.

Requirements:

  • Excellent communicator;
  • Good working knowledge of BS5839 (Fire Alarm Regulations) and British Standards BS5266 along with security regulations;
  • Good knowledge of intruder and fire systems, CCTV/IP CCTV would be an advantage but not essential as training will be provided;
  • Be able to plan and prioritise workload;
  • Ideally Completed some or all FIA training units 1-5 but training would be supported;
  • Reliable, tenacious and adaptable;
  • CSCS (ECS) Card;
  • Must be able to work independently and safely;
  • Methodical and logical problem-solving abilities;
  • Good working knowledge of a wide range of control panels.
