Graduate Electrical Design Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Graduate Electrical Design Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Carrying out site surveys and producing reports;
- Liaising with contractors to coordinate designs and instillations;
- Using CAD and BIM (Revit) software to design the systems required for the project;
- Working as part of a design team to deliver detailed designs across a range of project sectors;
- Design of Actuators and control valves;
- Work closely with mechanical and electronics engineers;
- Development of new electrical systems;
- Design of Wiring looms;
- Develop electrical systems specifications.
Requirements:
- Good organisational skills, with the ability to prioritise workloads and meet strict deadlines;
- Working towards MCIBSE/MIEE;
- Good eye for detail;
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills;
- Understanding of UK building regulations;
- Excellent numerical and analytical skills;
- Basic working knowledge of CAD;
- BSc / BEng in Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering or relevant.
