Highways Infrastructure Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Highways Infrastructure Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Represent the company at external meetings with clients and fellow professionals;
- Project profitability (monitoring / planning of costs and budgets);
- Produce flood risk assessments (FRA’s) and Drainage strategies;
- Assist in negotiating fee proposals and requesting additional fees;
- Prepare client / project proposals;
- Construct project teams from internal and external resources;
- Producing highways and drainage designs relating to medium to large development infrastructure projects;
- Be responsible for delivering work to a fee agreed with a Project Manager;
- Supervise CAD Technicians;
- Procure project resources;
- Agree design philosophy / design fundamentals.
Requirements:
- A competent user of Windes Microdrainage;
- Good understanding of section 38, 278 and 104 agreements – desirable;
- Experience in a similar role, ideally within a private practice;
- Experience in drainage (foul and surface) and minor road way design.
