Our company is looking for a Commercial Motor Insurance Account Handler to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Attending in-house training courses;
  • Once documents are received from the insurer you will need to check these to ensure accuracy;
  • To manage and prioritise own workloads;
  • Ensuring renewals are sent out within the required timescales;
  • Attending insurer training courses;
  • Running a large book of clients;
  • Remarketing policies when necessary;
  • Understanding and meeting service standards;
  • Preparing and processing scheme renewals;
  • Contacting clients to obtain up to date risk information and discuss renewal terms;
  • Cross selling of other company products;
  • Debt management;
  • Processing any mid-term adjustments;
  • Issuing renewal, new business, renewal confirmation and adjustment letters.

Requirements:

  • A willingness to learn and develop in a fast paced and progressive environment;
  • Must have a minimum of 12 months motor insurance experience;
  • Ideally candidates will have broking or insurance contact centre experience;
  • Candidates must also have experience of managing their own workload and meeting service standards;
  • A desire to undertake CII qualifications.
