Our company is looking for a Project Assistant to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform additional tasks and responsibilities as assumed or requested by management;
  • Translate all projects materials requirements through to purchasing;
  • Work with other departments to ensure projects meet business needs in a timely and structured manner in terms of quality, cost and delivery;
  • Updating of documentation;
  • Assisting the Senior Director with tasks relating to budgets and productivity;
  • Running reports on specific areas to show effectiveness of activities;
  • Supporting with the production of induction materials relating to how the client’s account is handled;
  • Organising divisional monthly meetings, team socials and other internal activities;
  • Assisting with publicity, venue hunting and compiling questionnaire results;
  • Supporting the accurate referencing of scientific materials, including preparing reference packs;
  • Scheduling meetings, and recording minutes and coordinating their distribution;
  • Preparation of compliance documentation;
  • Publicise the grant programme;
  • Supporting the development of client proposals and tracking those sent and responded to;
  • Screening records for relevance to research questions and extracting data from relevant publications into Excel.

Requirements:

  • The ability to prioritise workload and manage competing deadlines;
  • Interest in the arts is an advantage (no specific knowledge required);
  • Computer literacy -proficient in the use of MS Word, MS Excel and ideally MS Project;
  • Proficiency with Microsoft packages, great MS Excel knowledge is essential;
  • Knowledge of HASWA 1974 and CDM 2015;
  • Educated to at least degree level;
  • Ability to multitask and work in a fast-paced environment;
  • Ability to work both independently and in a team;
  • Great communications skill (Both written and verbal);
  • A desire and aptitude for collaborative working across project teams;
  • Native written and spoken English;
  • Ideally a trade background – carpenter, electrician, decorator etc;
  • SMSTS;
  • Able to accommodate out of hours working as well as in hours working – some evenings and weekends will be required;
  • Excellent organisational skills and enjoyment of organisation.
