Our company is looking for a Head of Web Development to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Lead, manage and develop a highly skilled digital team;
- Take a user-centred, data-driven, evidence based approach to the development of digital services and customer journey;
- Lead on quality assurance to ensure, high levels of accessibility;
- Develop and execute strategies of how to grow and nurture their web development offerings;
- Developing PHP driven websites alongside the development team;
- Managing the workload of the department, ensuring that all projects sit within the relevant internal resource;
- To lead and manage a team of Developers, supporting them in website builds for an array of clients.
Requirements:
- Strong understanding of GIT-based source control;
- Strong leadership skills, excellent self management;
- HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript and MySQL skills;
- Experience working with Magento and WordPress platforms;
- 5+ years proven software development experience in PHP, object-orintated programming and MVC frameworks;
- Experience of leading and developing teams;
- Senior level developer with strong technical lead experience.
