Lead iOS Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Lead iOS Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Line management for around 4-6 engineers. Mentoring, supporting and conducting regular 1:1s;
- Help establishing best practices and drive positive change;
- Ensuring high-quality work is delivered by the engineers in the chapter;
- Individual contributor;
- Contribute to planning and estimation in your squad.
Requirements:
- Excellent oral and written communication skills. Explaining technical issues in a clear way to business and other stakeholders;
- Understanding of software engineering and project management techniques, including agile delivery and estimating;
- Excellent knowledge of Swift;
- Meaningful experience with an FRP framework (e.g. ReactiveSwift, RxSwift);
- 5+ years of software development experience designing and building best-in-class native mobile experiences;
- The ability to make difficult decisions, and hold a high bar for the quality of the engineers who you lead.
