Principle Test Design Engineer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Principle Test Design Engineer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- To assist in the development of the team with senior stakeholders;
- To support forward planning activities for project activities and to support the generation of relevant development plans;
- To support and assist audit and review activities on company processes;
- To provide feedback on the efficiency and effectiveness of the development environment and participate in the validation of new tools;
- To share knowledge across the function and projects;
- To ensure the product is delivered on time and to budget, managing work packages of up to £1M;
- To originate, specify and prove designs to meet project operational requirements.
Requirements:
- HND or equivalent (or similar) in electronics engineering subject or in similar subject (or relevant work experience);
- Excellent communication skills, verbal and written, with the ability to promote collaborative working;
- Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines with high attention to detail;
- Work package management;
- Design for safety;
- Drive to achieve high standards, actively seeking improvement.
