Our company is looking for a SQL Developer to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Automated loading of data into the database from multiple sources;
  • Productive team worker with ability to learn and understand in-house SQL databases;
  • Standardisation of all reporting across the operation and support areas;
  • Design, Implementation, testing and deploying relevant code;
  • Development and maintenance of current products;
  • Keen to learn and develop your skills. Where necessary, they will make available funds for training courses to achieve this;
  • In-depth design and development of new visualisations, dashboards and reports across the operation;
  • Development of dashboards and service packs for weekly / monthly meetings;
  • Ability to design and build data warehouse;
  • Maintain fault finding skills to remedy problems with the IT infrastructure including end user PCs;
  • Create reports using Excel and internal platforms, to highlight opportunities to drive improvements to service and costs;
  • Liaising with internal business sponsors;
  • Maintain SQL databases. Ensure performance, security, and availability of databases;
  • Maintenance of existing code.

Requirements:

  • Experience with SSRS/SSAS/SSIS;
  • Strong SQL skills;
  • Hands on knowledge of T-SQL;
  • Knowledge of any Reporting tool (Qlik, Tableau, Power BI, Spotfire etc;
  • SQL server 2012 / 2016 / 2017;
  • Experience of database design and build;
  • .net knowledge is advantageous;
  • T-SQL;
  • Good communication skills with the ability to articulate complex concepts to stakeholders;
  • Strong knowledge of SQL;
  • Data consistency checks;
  • Handle common database procedures such as upgrade, backup, recovery and migration;
  • Experience and extensive exposure to SQL databases, from SQL 2008 to 2016;
  • Experience working with C# and API’s;
  • SQL programming including writing scripts and queries for backend databases.
