Our company is looking for a Mechanical Maintenance Fitter to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- PPM’s (Planned Preventative Maintenance);
- Project work;
- Repair of pumps and vacuum systems;
- General site maintenance;
- Fault Finding and breakdown recovery;
- Health and Safety machinery checks;
- PPE Provided;
- Ensuring Health and safety procedures are adhered to;
- Conveyors experience;
- Servicing bearing changing experience;
- working as a part of a multi skilled team;
- Inspection , overhaul,repair and new instillation of a broad range of mechanical systems;
- Mechanical maintenance of all plant and process equipment;
- Good communication skills;
- Basic Fabrication skills including small welding tasks.
Requirements:
- MIG Welding qualification;
- Forklift serving batching plant experience;
- PPE Provided;
- Ensure that all works are carried out to a high standard;
- Ensure all Health & Safety procedures are adhered to;
- Respond to Plant breakdowns,reducing downtime;
- Conveyors experience;
- Servicing bearing changing experience;
- Inspection , overhaul,repair and new instillation of a broad range of mechanical systems;
- working as a part of a multi skilled team;
- Maintaining complete and accurate records of technical information and work tasks;
- Good communication skills;
- Attend meetings;
- Basic Fabrication skills including small welding tasks;
- Knowledge of pumps/pipework/hydraulics/pneumatics.
