Our company is looking for a Primary Teaching Assistant to join our team.

Team Teach or MAPA restraint training;
Working with the class teacher on differentiation;
Providing feedback and helping with assessments;
Enthusiastic and friendly approach;
Ensuring the students stay focused on the tasks given by teachers;
Strong behaviour management skills and a good sense of humour;
Previous support work within a school or other child related experience;
Using behaviour management techniques to ensure a calm and productive class environment;
Assisting the teacher with differentiation, giving every pupil the chance to access the curriculum;
Must be able to have emotional resilience in working with challenging behaviours;
Record keeping and administrative tasks, such a preparing resources;
Attending meetings and contributing to the extra-curricular opportunities provided by the school;
Monitor the progress and keep records of support and impact of support in class;
Work with groups or 1:1 to support progress;
Delivering tailored learning activities and providing learning support to individuals and small groups of children across the curriculum.

Strong classroom Teacher and pupil support;
Level 3 qualification or equivalent;
Enhanced DBS on the online update system (or willing to have one processed);
Enthusiastic and friendly approach;
Team Teach or MAPA restraint training;
Strong behaviour management skills and a good sense of humour;
Your CV must cover the last 10 years of employment history where possible and all employment breaks must be explained;
Youth Offending Service experience;
Challenging behaviour outside of a school environment;
Have a genuine desire to become part of a committed team of Teachers;
Recent experience working alongside children in Key Stage 2;
Outgoing personality;
Have experience as a Teaching Assistant;
Teaching/Learning Support Assistance;
Sports coaching, qualifications or experience.
