Mental Health Nurse – RMN Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Mental Health Nurse – RMN to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Leading multidisciplinary team meetings;
- Clinical and operational leadership;
- Monitoring of the case load;
- The assessment of needs, planning and delivery of care for young people from assessment to discharge from services;
- Follow ups of young people who present at A&E in a Mental Health crisis;
- Supporting the development of a safe, therapeutic inpatient environment;
- Providing supervision for non-qualified staff;
- Implementing and evaluating care plans collaboratively with service users, carers and other professionals, providing individualised care;
- Advocating for young people using the services;
- Case discussions;
- Observations;
- Working closely with young people to empower and support their recovery journey;
- Assessments.
Requirements:
- Experience: 1+ years working as an RMN within the UK;
- Qualifications: A BSC (Hons) degree in mental health nursing;
- Hours: 37.5 hours p/w;
- Travel: Clean UK driving license with the ability to commute to and from work independently;
- Compliance: Up to date DBS, HCPC and NMC registration.
