Registered Mental Health Nurse Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Registered Mental Health Nurse to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Work closely with the management team to develop the service, audit, and improve quality;
- Administer prescribed medicines with Healthcare procedure and Healthcare Commission guidelines;
- Attend all training and engage in CPD to further knowledge and promote nursing;
- Produce outstanding written reports based on your nursing assessments and observations.
Requirements:
- Full-time agency;
- Immunisation record;
- Minimum of 12 months’ experience (either in NHS or private UK hospitals);
- 1 year’s NHS experience;
- PMVA/MAPA Training;
- NMC;
- Experienced as a Senior Nurse or Preceptorship (not essential but preferable);
- Significant experience of working with vulnerable people ideally in a forensic environment/mental health and/or other complex support needs;
- Registered Mental Health Nurse Qualification with a Valid NMC Registration;
- You will have excellent communication skills;
- Good use of knowledge using IT Skills;
- Great communication skills and adhere to trust values of compassion, respect, empowerment and partnership to staff and patients;
- Clinical skills: administering medication, risk assessments and care planning;
- Previous experience working/caring for babies;
- Good liaison experience.
