Our company is looking for a Registered Veterinary Nurse to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- 5 weeks (pro rota) annual leave plus bank holidays;
- Calculate and administer medications and keeping accurate records;

- To clean and autoclave all surgical instruments and equipment;
- Prepare, identify and record results from radiography equipment;
- To provide treatment to animals as prescribed by the vet;
- To admit animals for surgery and discharge them back to their owners, taking all monies due;
- Be responsible for own learning and practice development and proactively developing skills and knowledge to meet service needs;
- Prepare surgical theatre for the day’s operations;
- RCVS fees paid CPD allowance;
- Administration of drugs, anaesthetic and injections;
- Nurse clinics;
- Share knowledge and experience with others and to provide support to other members of the clinic team.
Requirements:

- 1:5 OOH/weekend work;
- Taking blood samples and placing intravenous catheters;
- Comply with health and safety regulations and local policy within the surgery;
- 5 weeks holiday (with the option to buy an additional two weeks leave);
