Responsibilities:
- To transcribe dictation and undertake administrative tasks as directed by fee earners and partners;
- To proactively manage files, ensuring up to date and regular recording of contact information and disbursements;
- To deal with new enquiries and maintain an efficient system of diary management for the relevant fee earners and Partners;
- To make full use of the firm’s case management system;
- To close and archive files at the conclusion of a matter.
Requirements:
- Excellent organisational and time management skills;
- Lively, enthusiastic team player with a proactive approach to their work;
- High degree of computer literacy—able to use Word, Excel and PowerPoint to advanced level;
- Excellent typing skills, accuracy is essential;
- Able to use own initiative;
- Able to communicate with people at all levels within the organisation and build positive working relationships;
- Proactive, flexible and able to adapt to changing business needs;
- Professional and discreet;
- Ability to develop high level of knowledge of the firm’s case management system.
