Responsibilities:
- Manipulate and analyse data to provide value add internal business insight and commentary to support in maximising results;
- Accountable for components of a complex process or designing and developing new or improved solutions to meet business objectives;
- Build and maintain relationships with the business to support commercial decision making;
- Utilise financial analysis techniques to provide decision support, advice and insight that support commercial decision making.
Requirements:
- Comfortable in developing a broad base of relationships with key contacts across a business;
- Previous experience of accurately communicating business issues to appropriate parties and providing support to stakeholders;
- Proven track record of combining advanced financial analysis with qualitative investigation to generate insights;
- Adept at compiling robust financial projections aligned with other relevant management processes;
- Comfortable in identifying issues and trends when analysing financial statements;
- Experience across a range of finance specialisms with strong numerical and analytical skills;
- This role would be suited to a qualified/ working towards qualification Accountant/Actuary.
