Responsibilities:

  • Manipulate and analyse data to provide value add internal business insight and commentary to support in maximising results;
  • Accountable for components of a complex process or designing and developing new or improved solutions to meet business objectives;
  • Build and maintain relationships with the business to support commercial decision making;
  • Utilise financial analysis techniques to provide decision support, advice and insight that support commercial decision making.

Requirements:

  • Comfortable in developing a broad base of relationships with key contacts across a business;
  • Previous experience of accurately communicating business issues to appropriate parties and providing support to stakeholders;
  • Proven track record of combining advanced financial analysis with qualitative investigation to generate insights;
  • Adept at compiling robust financial projections aligned with other relevant management processes;
  • Comfortable in identifying issues and trends when analysing financial statements;
  • Experience across a range of finance specialisms with strong numerical and analytical skills;
  • This role would be suited to a qualified/ working towards qualification Accountant/Actuary.
