Our company is looking for a Retail Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor day to day procedures of the showroom;
- Recruit new staff members in conjunction with the HR department;
- Ensure excellent standards of housekeeping are maintained together with the condition of all equipment, fixtures and fittings within the shop;
- Manage and motivate the staff according to Company policies and employment laws;
- Manage and maintain effectiveness of IT and other essential in-showroom systems;
- Develop and manage the sales team to deliver and maintain excellent customer service;
- Planning and delivering business strategies to drive sales in store;
- Ensuring the store and staff maintain brand standards at all times;
- Motivating a team to ensure the best service possible;
- Develop pro-active sales initiatives and events to drive sales within the Performance Space;
- Maintain our database of VIP customers and proactively generate sales and pitch ideas based on our evolving collections;
- Manage security and health and safety pertaining to staff and customer awareness;
- Profit protection and stock management;
- Using creativity and initiative to deal with specific customer issues/one-off queries;
- Achieving store and company KPI’s.
Requirements:
- Highly organised with strong attention to detail;
- Exceptional communications skills in-person, by phone, on email and all written communications;
- Ambitious, autonomous, proactive, multi-tasker;
- Flexible to work showroom hours including weekends and later start/end times on weekdays;
- Strong selling and interpersonal skills, loves people, high EQ;
- Positive, builds relationships, team player;
- Enthusiastic about e-commerce tools and innovation;
- English, Native or bilingual proficiency;
- At least 2 years of previous experience in retail sales and styling or other customer-facing role (ideally with VIP customers);
- Passion for luxury fashion and fundamental understanding of styling for different body shapes and lifestyle needs;
- Exceptional English writing and verbal skills.
