Responsibilities:
- Defining underwriting and ongoing customer management procedures to the operations team to fulfill on the credit risk policies;
- Explore new data sources and vendors to enhance credit risk models and strategies;
- Enhance and manage the stress and scenario frameworks;
- Collaboratively work with risk champions and the compliance departments across the group;
- Facilitate the RCSA process;
- Advising or training staff at all levels on core and on-going risk management issues;
- Overseeing risk reporting on risk management best practice;
- Reporting on key risks, including agreeing mitigating controls and escalating other risks;
- Line Manage a team of three risk officers, offering support and coaching to ensure each team member performs to their best ability;
- To develop and support the enhancement of the risk management framework;
- Provide risk management advice, identifying emerging risks and advising the senior management on appropriate risk management options;
- Work with Compliance and Learning and Development to build a comprehensive risk and compliance training programme – tailored to specific audiences;
- Provide challenge to the business units on the adherence to risk appetite statements and limits, as devolved to the Division / Business Unit(s);
- Enhance and maintain a consistent risk management framework across the Insurance & Assistance business;
- Ensures risk remediation programmes are initiated and executed in line with Deutsche Bank Risk and Programme standards.
Requirements:
- Strong programming skills and experience with Big Data programming languages such as HIVE, PIG, PYTHON;
- Experience in a financial services organization in consumer or commercial credit/marketing analytics function;
- Experienced managing conduct risk;
- Experienced designing and developing stress/scenario frameworks ideally;
- Sound ORSA development knowledge;
- Line Manage a team of three risk officers, offering support and coaching to ensure each team member performs to their best ability;
- Overseeing risk reporting on risk management best practice;
- Advising or training staff at all levels on core and on-going risk management issues;
- Reporting on key risks, including agreeing mitigating controls and escalating other risks;
- Experienced Risk Management professional;
- Understands how to utilises measures and dashboard to monitor risk;
- Strong and flexible influencing skills required for engagement with management and staff at all levels;
- Sound understanding of the Regulatory regime applicable to the business, including a sound understanding of Solvency II requirements;
- Experience of presenting and providing information to regulators on technology risks;
- Experience in Risk Assessments/Technology and Operations Audits/IT Operations focused Control functions.
