Senior Engineering Manager Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Senior Engineering Manager to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Leading engineering wide initiatives focusing on scaling the team;
- Working closely with our Talent team to hire and retain world class Engineers;
- Work closely with the Recruitment and People teams to build a solid engineering team;
- Coaching and mentoring engineers to help them develop technically and as the new generation of leaders;
- Managing identification of avionic and test system product design risks and translation into risk mitigation activity;
- Build a strong customer focus within Engineering;
- Technical support of Product Management and Sales as required;
- Represent the company with customer visits and audits both on site and at customer premises;
- Work with the broader team to ensure excellence across Culture Trip’s products, processes and codebases;
- Project management of minor product modifications as required including some CAPA projects;
- Provide input into Segment and Product Management for quotations (NRE costs, project schedule, calculations etc.);
- Managing engineering managers;
- Departmental budget planning and spend tracking in accordance with local controls and AOP;
- Be a highly technical manager with deep experience in software and systems;
- Managing the definition and agreement over verification methodology and planning within the discipline areas.
