Our company is looking for a Site Manager to join our team.

Programme reporting;
Motivating the workforce;
Quality control of properties;
Set up contract file and H&S documentation such as CPH&SP, Risk assessments, method statements;
Writing reports through IT and MS office packages;
Establish that staff training and development has occurred as plan at annual appraisal and appraisal;
Applying in‐depth knowledge of all aspects of building regulations and H&S regulations;
Supervision of site on a day to day basis and liaising with company superiors;
Working with the Site Manager, supervise all sub-contractors and trades;
Working with the contracts manager to plan site operations from start to finish and highlight potential problems in advance;
Providing regular progress updates and holding regular project reviews the visiting Contracts Manager;
Use the subcontract manual and trade specifications as a basis for managing the subcontractor’s obligations;
Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards;
Managing safety on site, being able to assist in case of emergency;
Allocate resources effectively and fully utilise assets to produce optimal results.

BSc or BEng level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HNC/HND or the equivalent;
CSCS Card;
Applicants must have experience managing projects like apartments and student accommodation with a project value of £30M plus;
Flexible working practices;
Property Refurbishment experience;
SMSTS and First Aid at Work;
Proven records of delivering high standards of work;
Computer literate, competence with Microsoft Office. An understanding of Microsoft Navision Dynamics would be advantageous;
Comfortable with ground works packages;
Good time keeping.
