Our company is looking for a Site Manager to join our team.

Responsibilities:

  • Programme reporting;
  • Motivating the workforce;
  • Quality control of properties;
  • Set up contract file and H&S documentation such as CPH&SP, Risk assessments, method statements;
  • Writing reports through IT and MS office packages;
  • Establish that staff training and development has occurred as plan at annual appraisal and appraisal;
  • Applying in‐depth knowledge of all aspects of building regulations and H&S regulations;
  • Supervision of site on a day to day basis and liaising with company superiors;
  • Working with the Site Manager, supervise all sub-contractors and trades;
  • Working with the contracts manager to plan site operations from start to finish and highlight potential problems in advance;
  • Providing regular progress updates and holding regular project reviews the visiting Contracts Manager;
  • Use the subcontract manual and trade specifications as a basis for managing the subcontractor’s obligations;
  • Increase production, assets capacity and flexibility while minimizing unnecessary costs and maintaining current quality standards;
  • Managing safety on site, being able to assist in case of emergency;
  • Allocate resources effectively and fully utilise assets to produce optimal results.

Requirements:

  • First-Aid;
  • Asbestos Awareness;
  • Managing all trades and materials;
  • Mechanical & Electrical;
  • Building/Construction;
  • BSc or BEng level qualification in a Civil Engineering allied subject or HNC/HND or the equivalent;
  • CSCS Card;
  • Applicants must have experience managing projects like apartments and student accommodation with a project value of £30M plus;
  • Flexible working practices;
  • Property Refurbishment experience;
  • SMSTS and First Aid at Work;
  • Proven records of delivering high standards of work;
  • Computer literate, competence with Microsoft Office. An understanding of Microsoft Navision Dynamics would be advantageous;
  • Comfortable with ground works packages;
  • Good time keeping.
