Conflicts Lawyer Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Conflicts Lawyer to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Establishing information barriers;
- Analysing information contained in the Firm’s conflict management systems;
- Dealing with ad hoc questions/queries from Partners and lawyers relating to conflicts of interest and other engagement risk issues;
- Assessing and making decisions on whether changes to existing mandates create any conflict or other compliance issues for the firm;
- Determining any applicable conditions upon which mandates can be accepted or continued;
- Act as the firms Subject Matter Expert for Conflicts;
- Assist other lawyers in resolving conflict issues;
- Regularly liaising with Partners and Senior Stakeholders answering all queries;
- Conduct research to clarify potential issues and to gather information;
- 3+ years’ experience within Conflicts;
- Create and analyse reports identifying potential conflict of interest issues;
- Help to train others including Conflict’s Analysts.
Requirements:
- Dealing with ad hoc questions/queries from Partners and lawyers relating to conflicts of interest and other engagement risk issues;
- Assessing and making decisions on whether changes to existing mandates create any conflict or other compliance issues for the firm;
- Determining any applicable conditions upon which mandates can be accepted or continued;
- In order to perform this role you will be a qualified lawyer with experience of working in a commercial law environment;
