Process Operator Job Description Template
Our company is looking for a Process Operator to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Working in different areas of the plant (training is given);
- Develop other members of the operational team;
- Identifying improvements where possible;
- Have flexibility of deployment;
- Cleaning and maintaining machinery and all work areas;
- Responsible for operation of plant and equipment;
- Trouble shooting and improving processes;
- Control of the roasting process from raw (green malt) to finished product;
- Assisting the Production team with completing their daily tasks;
- Responsible for the quality of products and the performance of the production line;
- Making sure that health and safety standards are maintained;
- Using lifting equipment and forklifts;
- Packaging goods ready for shipment;
- Operating fast-paced machinery;
- Working to line speeds designed to meet requirements of the manufacturing plan.
Requirements:
- Previous experience in similar environment (preferred);
- Have an excellent level of communication and team working skills;
- Computer Literate;
- Knowledge of and practical experience working with water treatment assets and processes, an advantage;
- Be assertive but also a team player;
- Analytical;
- Must be able to demonstrate awareness of the Company’s Customers and their requirements;
- The ability to use own initiative and communicate well at all levels;
- Exceptional eye for detail & quality checking;
- Being able to work as a team;
- Be self-motivated and have determination to succeed;
- You must complete all relevant in-house training;
- Have a high degree of self-management and a positive can-do attitude;
- Must be able to demonstrate your ability to enable effective implementation and management of the Quality Procedures;
- Ability to work as a team member with the minimum of supervision.
