Our company is looking for a Operative to join our team.
Responsibilities:
- Follows Health & Safety, and Company guidelines, to maintain a safe and efficient working environment;
- Ensures vehicles are located and stored according to Company standards and customer requirements;
- Imaging vehicles and completing basic vehicle documentation on handheld devices;
- Assisting with member viewings and removing personal effects from vehicles;
- Meet time-driven deadlines whilst maintaining a high-quality standard of work;
- Play a significant role in long-term planning, including initiatives geared towards operational excellence;
- Picking of emergency orders when required;
- Management of external agencies relevant to operations;
- Management of operational budget in coordination with the London Branch/General Manager;
- Lead, develop and coach staff to their full potential;
- Fully accurate picking of parts;
- Oversee overall operational management, planning, systems and controls;
- Accurate stock put away in all areas;
- Full and accurate labelling of receipted stock;
- Dock to stock within a specified period of time.
Requirements:
- A demonstrated commitment to high professional ethical standards and a diverse workplace;
- Excel at operating in an fast pace, community environment;
- Excellent computer skills and proficient in excel, word, outlook, and access;
- Practical knowledge of computerised operating systems including Delta V (DCS), Oracle and Microsoft Office Suite would be a distinct advantage;
- Banksman / slinger;
- To ensure all operations are delivered in a safe manner with no incidents or damage to assets;
- Flexible, honest and reliable;
- Dexterous; able to use a range of hand tools and handle small components (essential);
- Customer focused;
- Full Driving Licence UK or Equivalent;
- Mechanical aptitude (desirable);
- Polite and courteous;
- Current forklift qualification (minimum 10 T);
- Ensure equipment is maintained to a high standard and in good working order minimising the cost of repairs and;
- Motivated, positive and happy to work as part of a team.
